Commonsense Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a non-pharmaceutical means of tapping into the body's own innate ability to balance and heal itself. Learn about acupuncture in commonsense terms while enjoying a stress management treatment based on acupuncture principles. This class will provide a foundational understanding of Chinese Medicine and will focus on research into acupuncture. The instructor will use case histories to explain how acupuncturists create a treatment plan for common disorders, including insomnia, stress, muscle and joint pain, sciatica, headache and other disorders. Get answers to the questions you've been meaning to ask about this fascinating approach to health. William Weinstein, L.Ac., is a New York State licensed acupuncturist, and also an educator, writer, and editor. He practices in Manhattan and New Paltz. Note: This continuing nursing education activity is approved by the New York State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
